With its onerous gun laws, it is easy to forget there a competitive shooting scene over in Europe. It varies by country but there are top level pistol competitors that get all their work done in Europe. It is in this competitive background where the Grand Power brand of handguns traces its roots. However in the United States it is an obscure brand whose importers change over time. This P1 would be an easy miss in your local gun store. But if this Grand Power P1 Mk 7 is any indication, their pistols are reliabie, accurate, and durable. In desert testing the P1 was flawless in every respect. The Mk 7 version was replaced by the Mk 12 update which helps mitigate some of its quirks like a tedious field strip. A few other downsides like accessory options are also noted in comparison to competitive options section of this Nutnfancy GRV. Nevertheless this P1 pistol, with its rotary locking barrel system, was a pleasure to test and shoot and it is recommended.
