I’m doing a private mentor conference in New York City on Tuesday, January 19th and Wednesday, January 20th.
The last one was crazy. We had about 400 people at The Roosevelt in Hollywood last month.
I’m bringing in cutting-edge people to speak, entrepreneurs I look up to, investors, potential mentors, and more. I’m also doing a Diamond Dinner again. To be around the group of high-level entrepreneurs that’ll be there, I’d spend any amount of money.
There will be people above your level, at your level, and below your level. Like the Law of 33%, you want to be around all three.
Come prepared, not only to take a lot of value home with you but to also add some value.
Like Alexander the Great said, "The world has been divided into cowards, people who are afraid to do stuff that’s challenging, and conquerers."
Conquerers are people who conquer their fears, hopes, dreams, and goals. Cowards suffer and die, not just physical death but the death of aspirations.
To break plateaus, I always say that you want to be around people that would be embarrassed to be at the level you’re aspiring to get to.
So if you want to make $100,000 a year, hang out with people that would be embarrassed to make that amount. If you want to learn how to make $1,000,000 a year, hang out with a bunch of people that would consider that to be a sad year.
Then all of a sudden, your barometer of success and expectations will reset…
And that’s what these conferences are about.
