What is the BEST weight training program and split?
This is one of the most common questions I get when people are looking to start a new program, but forget to take into account many important variables that can affect the program you choose. There are tons of splits that some consider optimal, effective or efficient but that all depends on the trainee's lifestyle, goals, experience, level etc.

Some of the more popular splits include:
Body Part Split - Hitting each muscle one time per week
Upper Lower - Upper body, lower body off repeat
Full Body - Every muscle 3x per week typically
5x5 - Strong lifts, icecreamfitness novice program, etc.
