In this tutorial, I'll show you how to make an awareness ribbon binding, using a modified coptic stitch method. I chose pink to promote awareness for breast cancer, but you can use other colors for your ribbon to promote awareness for any cause.
Materials:
• 8.5x11" paper (36 sheets, 2 thick sheets)
• Waxed thread
Tools:
• Pencil and pen
• Bone folder (see substitutes - http://bit.ly/15EP8dB)
• Awl (see substitutes - http://bit.ly/Ylyz16)
• Needle
• Book press (vice or binder clips will work too)
