About the Video:
A couple weeks ago I picked up the new Canon 16-35mm f/4 IS wide-angle zoom lens. When I did the unboxing, I promised that I would give you all some sample images from the lens as well as a review of the Canon 16-35mm f/4 IS.
Yesterday, I took the lens and my Canon 6D out to a place called Crescent Falls here in Central Alberta. I chose this location specifically because I knew that it would cause a bit of a challenge for the lens. Any wide angle lens shooting directly into the sunset will have an issue with Chromatic Aberration. Thus, it was an awesome opportunity to shoot a scene that would cause all sorts of problems for the lens.
In the end, the lens performed even better than I expected. The 16-35mm f/4 IS was 100% sharp in the middle of the frame and only a little bit soft on the edges. As far as CA is concerned, the 16-35mm f/4 IS handled it better than any wide angle I've ever used.
