Occupational Therapist (OT) work directly with patients to help them regain function and independence in their everyday lives. Michelle's program in 2.5 years. In Washington state, OT salary can be close to 100,000 a year! In California it is closer to 90,000. You can work both in the inpatient or outpatient setting! Great for work life balance.

This week I was visiting family and close friends in San Diego where I did my undergrad and premed! Today discussed the many career paths in medicine. When people think of patient interactions - most will jump straight to doctor, nurse, PA, NP. But there are so many other careers that have one on one patient interactions that can be very rewarding as well.
