Being an incomplete fighter from the same team who did Nekketsu Dairantou, Cross Theater/ X-Theater (which was originally known as X-Burlesque or Cross Burlesque) shows a lot of potential. It's a crossover game of sorts that combines fighters from obscure games (as well as having some original characters too)...and being one who dabbles in a lot of lesser known games, this naturally intrigues me. The game possesses "3D modeled" characters that animate very nicely.

If you read what I said about the first build of this game, I thought that the 2D characters before were decent but the newer models in the game now are excellent. I've been paying a lot of attention to this project because I like the quality of the work being done (I enjoyed ND a lot). In their latest update, they've made me quite happy by making a VERY cool version of Hiromi Tengenji (A character originally known for her debut in Namco's "Burning Force") that is playable. Fighting with both her legs AND her guns at the same time made her an instant win (and her intro sweetened the deal); She kicks all kinds of ass...I hope she gets some wicked level 2 and 3 super moves to go with her excellent ability set...the same goes for all the characters. They are all cool to play as.

To my dismay, the developer(s) have removed all of their previous work from the website, so games like ND are no longer available; I can understand the reasoning behind that though. Anyway, you can get this game at:

Click the word "DOWNLOAD" at the bottom of the page to get the new version of this game...And one more thing...while I spelled "Cross Theater" the way it appears on the title screen, I would like to think that it should be "シアター" for "Theater" instead of what's shown in the title...maybe it's another spelling?
