A Visit to the Fossil Lab

Paul Sereno is a paleontologist, a professor at the University of Chicago, and a National Geographic Explorer. He has discovered several new dinosaur species on several continents, and has excavated sites in far-flung places like Inner Mongolia, Argentina, and Morocco. One of his most widely-publicized discovery- a 40-foot long fossil crocodile, Sarcosuchus imperator, better known as "SuperCroc," found in the Sahar desert in Niger. Professor Sereno takes you on a tour of some of his favorite fossils in his Fossil Lab at the University of Chicago, and tells stories about some of his adventures while fossil-hunting.
