Plyometrics (or jump training) offers plenty of health benefits including improved bone density, power, strength and agility, and not to mention, a greater calorie burn. Plyometric-style exercises are also perfect for HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts too since the intervals require maximum effort to reap the full benefits. While it's a short workout, it's very intense, so make sure you are well rested and your joints are in great shape before attempting this or any other jump-style routine.
