In Willy Bogner’s 1986 film Fire and Ice, John Eaves falls in love with Suzy Chaffee at first sight in Aspen, Colorado, only to see her again in his hometown of New York. From there, John, whose character cannot ski, follows Suzy around the country, back to Aspen, to prove himself as a skier, culminating in this dramatic stunt scene with the two jumping through fire. In 1986, stunts weren’t done with computers – this was all real!
