Meet Brittany Wenger, the Grand Prize winner in the 2012 Google Science Fair. Having experienced her cousin battling breast cancer, Brittany Wenger decided to try and make difference. Brittany started researching machine learning, and designed a program that analyzes the results of non-invasive tests carried out by doctors. The results can accurately diagnose breast cancer over 99% of the time. The program is deployed as a cloud service, allowing it to be potentially accessed by any hospital in the world.
