“For more than 10 years, this place has just been horrific,” Ernest says, as he gives a Dr. Phil producer a tour.
TELL DR. PHIL YOUR STORY: Chaos in your life?
Ernest points out a Christmas tree that he says has been up for four or five years, furniture ruined by cat scratches, piles of laundry in multiple rooms, months of dirty dishes covering the countertops, mold, mildew, and an ant problem in the kitchen.
“It’s really depressing to see all this in such a beautiful home,” Ernest says. “I would have to say it’s just a mess.”
Christy, however, says her husband has no right to criticize her. She claims he’s landed them in financial ruin and their house has gone into foreclosure more than once.

Using his top-rated show as a teaching tool, he takes aim at the critical issues of our time, including the "silent epidemics" of bullying, drug abuse, domestic violence, depression, child abuse, suicide and various forms of severe mental illness.
