The excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) effect for Tabata occurs immediately after the workout, so you keep burning calories. Today I will show you how to a Shred Fat in 5 Minutes with an Intense Tabata Weightloss Workout.

Always warm up for 2-3 minutes before doing ANY workout. Here's a good multi-purpose warm up that most people can easily do.
20 sec jumping jacks

20 sec lunges

Welcome to the *INTENSE* Shred Fat in 5 Minutes \\ Weightloss Workout (Tabata)

Be sure to consider the rest of your workout commitments as you decide which workouts to do. 20 - 30 min total per day is a good amount!

Tabata is a form of high-intensity interval training that forces you to work at a very high intensity for short periods of time. Not only do you burn more calories during your workout, but you also increase your afterburn—the calories you burn after you exercise as your body resets back to normal. This very advanced workout involves pushing you to that breathless place where you have to dig deep to find the will to keep going.

Each Tabata set involves alternating two high-intensity or anaerobic exercises for 20 seconds, followed by 10 seconds of rest, for a total of four minutes. We are jumping straight in the warm up with Boxer Shuffle (0:12). After warm up we'll get into the Tabata Weightloss Workout with:
- 0:33 20 seconds Burpees
10 seconds rest
- 1:17 20 seconds Burpees
10 seconds rest
- 1:47 20 seconds Burpees
15 seconds rest
- 2:22 30 seconds Burpees
1 minute break
- 3:59 20 seconds Basic Punches
10 seconds rest
- 4:40 20 seconds Basic Punches
10 seconds rest
- 5:10 20 seconds Basic Punches
15 seconds rest
- 5:45 30 seconds Basic Punches
