Andrea is a 29-year-old resident of New York City who says she has been experiencing constant anxiety since the start of the coronavirus outbreak. She reports losing sleep, having night sweats, and feeling helpless over what she says is a lack of information about the pandemic. And that, she says, has led her to operate through “fear-based decisions.”

Additionally, says Andrea, “I lost my job, I’m concerned about my family, and all of that is stacking on top of the anxiety I’d had previously.”

Along with losing her job, Andrea says she’s about to lose her healthcare benefits. “It’s one thing after another,” she says, adding, “I don’t have answers, and I don’t have solutions, and so it can be a vicious cycle.”
