Lois says her fiancé, “Paul Shaw,” who she met online and has never met in person, claims he is an American citizen currently stranded in Nigeria, awaiting a $2 million inheritance from his uncle’s estate. “Paul,” says Lois, has an adult daughter, “Angela,” who attends University in Scotland, and she has seen photographs of the two of them together. Lois’ family claims that she is being catfished - and not for the first time.

In part two of this three-part Dr. Phil, Lois learned that her former fiancé, “Fred” was not who he claimed to be and that he appeared to be using photographs of Mark, who lives in North Carolina, to scam women online.

Today, Lois meets Stephen, who says the photos that “Paul” has been using online are, in actuality, of him and his daughter, Gabrielle.

“I’ve been a Connecticut State Trooper, I’ve been a pilot, I’ve been a member of the Freemasons. I’ve been a lot of things, but I’ve never been a ‘Paul Shaw’,” says Stephen.

Gabrielle says, “To be targeted in that kind of way is really upsetting and kind of scary.”

How does Lois respond to learning that, like “Fred,” her fiancé, “Paul,” has been hiding behind other people’s identities?
