Here's how to ignite or light charcoal using a charcoal chimney bbq starter or "chimney flue" without lighter fluid or chemicals. The fuel based charcoal fluid can impart a bad taste to your food. Another great way to start the coals is with parrafin starter cubes available from retailers like Weber (check your bbq section). Newspaper works easily too and all you really need is three large sheets.
