Chutney is a side dish in the cuisines of the Indian subcontinent. As raw mangoes are used so there is a sweet and tangy taste to the chutney.

INGREDIENTS:

Oil 3-4 tsp
Dry red chillies 4-6 nos
Raw mango 1 nos
Mint leaves 2 bunch
Garlic 4-5 nos
Ginger 1 piece
Salt to taste
Mustard seeds ½ tsp
Cumin seeds ½ tsp
Urad dal ½ tsp
Chana dal ½ tsp

METHOD:

1. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add dry red chillies saute it for a 1 min and transfer only dry red chillies into into mixie jar.

2. Peel raw mango and cut into pieces add to same mixie jar.

3. In the same oil pan, add mint leaves and saute it. Add garlic, ginger and saute it for 2 mins.

4. Transfer into same mixie jar, add salt and blend it coarsely.

5. Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal and saute it.

6. Transfer into a bowl, add coarse paste of mint mixture and mix it.

7. Now the mango chutney is ready to serve.
