I take a look at the new Snapshot updates available this week for Minecraft 1.8, 14w11a & 14w11b, and run down the list of new features & fixes added, including a new Monster, the parasitic Endermite, a mysterious link between them and the Dragon Egg, changes to Mob AI such as faster Endermen that hate Endermites, Creepers that flee from explosions, erratic jumping Slimes, and Silverfish that pause, 3 times faster Minecarts that can fly off of rails and hop gaps, useful Minecarts with Furnaces/Powered Minecarts, updates to block models & lighting, an awesome 3D Resource Pack from developer TheMogMiner, more detailed Block data in F3, bug fixes, & more. Thanks for watching guys...1.8 is shaping up to be awesome!
