This is my written review for the Motionjoy Mini Wireless Bluetooth Gamepad.
I was looking for a small controller, that I can travel with and use on my Samsung Galaxy or Android TV for retro games like SNES mario games etc. When I saw this, it looked ideal and for the price it is excellent value.
This mini gamepad is very small, much smaller than I expected. However it still very comfortable to hold and play with due to its oval shape. It actual feels great in the hands.
I have it connected to my Android TV, Android Phone and PC and MAC Mini - no problems connecting to bluetooth was very simple and I did not even need to look at the instructions. You simply activate bluetooth pairing by holding the start button for 5 seconds until the blue light starts blinking.
I played real racing 2 on my android TV box and it played beautifully. The controls felt so accurate and makes you want to keep playing. Then I tried on my Windows PC and MAC emulator games and enjoyed a few rounds of Mario 1 and 3 and again, perfect controls. Finally tested it on my Samsung galaxy and played a soccer game.
On all the devices i mentioned it works like a dream. However with iOS iPhone/iPad I managed to play one game as there are not many compatible games for iOS, only iCade games. So buy this in mind that this is excellent for Android and PC/Mac.
