About Warlords of Draenor:
Warlords of Draenor (WoD) is the latest upcoming expansion for the hit fantasy MMORPG, World of Warcraft. Currently in development, Warlords of Draenor has completed its Alpha phase and moved on into an open Beta as of June 27th, 2014. This new WoW expansion features a journey back in time to the land of Draenor, which later became present-WoW-day Outland. Players will face the threat of Garrosh Hellscream and his Iron Horde as he prepares to invade and destroy Azeroth.
Many exciting new gameplay and graphical features are planned for this expansion. Notable among these is the addition of updated models for player characters. The new player character models are of higher graphical fidelity, polygon count and have improved textures. Animations have been re-rigged to take advantage of the expression possible with new technology. Hair styles, textures and features have been updated and redone, new. It is hoped that as many of the races as possible receive this much-needed upgrade in time for the Warlords of Draenor launch.

WoD will also include major updates to class spells, talents and mechanics. Stats have been squished, abilities have been overhauled and combat in World of Warcraft is significantly different.

Enigmatic draenei refugees have built a coastal foothold into a glimmering state replete with the libraries and worship-halls of their timeless civilization. Meanwhile, the Iron Horde's slaves labor on engines of war pointed at the draenei and worlds beyond.
