This is a recording of the Playstation version of Pocket Fighter, which was known in U.S. arcades as "Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix". This game is also for Sega Saturn, WonderSwan, and as a part of the "Street Fighter Alpha Anthology". This is a pretty fun game and a nice port of the Arcade title, though a little basic for my tastes.

You can execute preset combos (known as Flash Combos), throw items that have different effects, and execute super moves. There isn't a whole lot of combo potential due to the way most Flash Combos are set-up per-se, but you can invent some interesting combos with a lot of dedication, though most won't work against a reasonable opponent. I like the "Gems" system, which upgrades each characters' basic attacks and the ability to use unblockable attacks that knock goodies from opponents.

I use Tessa in this video, as I simply don't recall using her much (if at all) back in the day. She's an interesting and goofy character, though her attacks tend to leave her more vulnerable than most characters. If I can get my Xbox working, I'd like to re-examine her in SVC Chaos. Enjoy.
