1. #katifaq Heya Kati I was just wondering: what do therapists think of online eating disorder communities such as Instagram and tumblr? I mean obviously proanas and whatnot can be very damaging but how about people taking photos of every meal they eat and then others commenting? Sometime I think it can be kinda helpful but also it can get obsessive and people start to get competitive and make comparisons. How can we know if it's helpful or harmful to us? I'd love to know your thoughts!! Thank you!! Xxxxx
2. #katifaq hi kati, sorry for the very long question, but I was wondering do you think it is important for parents to talk to their children about their mental health? I had no idea my mom had depression until I found anti- depressants in our cabinet and questioned her. Considering we are struggling with the same thing I would think it would be nice if she told me. What do you think?
3. #KatiFAQ Hey Kati I have depression, anxiety and I self harm. Does this mean my children will be at higher risk to develop any of these as they age, since I already have them?
