A graduate of the International Academy of Design and Technology, Stacey created designs and interior styling for a high-profile condominium developer in Toronto before launching her own firm, Interiors by Stacey Cohen. "I can't even remember when I first decided to go into business for myself, because I had never envisioned things to be any other way," she says. "From the time I was a child, I was always looking for ways to sell things, from selling lemonade and 'custom' stationery to my neighbours to starting a small private swim school in high school. I think I've always had a little bit of entrepreneur in me."
