The internet is an instant-answer machine; whenever you have a question, the answer is a click, tap, or voice command away. But... is that always a good thing?

While the ability to get instant answers is powerful, it can also lead to something called "cognitive offloading" - where we start to rely on the internet to be our extended memory bank. Unfortunately, we also start to rely on it for critical thinking and problem solving as well.

Today, we'll examine this side effect of internet use - and I'll share a technique for curbing it and winning back your critical thinking skills.
