Oh Konami...back in the day, you could take anything and make it fun. At the very least, I feel that I can say that about this particular game. Anyone familiar with "Tiny Toon Adventures" or "Tiny Toons"? I used to love the cartoon growing up and the show was very popular at the time. Needless to say, Konami was interested in making several video games based on the show. As far as I can remember, all of the ones I played were pretty cool *thinks of "Buster Busts Loose!* and there are numerous TTA games made in the 2000s that I didn't even know existed (one is by Treasure too).
In this game, you can play several different sports against the computer (there is also a story to the game that you can follow) or a friend. Generally speaking, the games are pretty easy to play and understand (basketball...you can get 3 pointers, soccer, etc.), but to jazz things up slightly, each character is slightly more than just a different face. You can use a super move that varies depending on the character (Buster and Babs get super speed and accuracy, Shirley can use her mind to control the basketball or stuff, etc.). The game didn't do anything particularly grand, but like many earlier Konami games, it had a decent presentation and some quality music. The game controls reasonably well too.
