The 2014 NBA Development League Dream Factory Presented by Boost Mobile returns to NBA All-Star festivities on Saturday, Feb. 15, at NBA All-Star Jam Session's Sprint Arena inside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. NBA D-League Dream Factory presented by Boost Mobile tips off NBA D-League All-Star activities when an all-time high six sharp shooters take to the court to display their long-range accuracy in the Boost Mobile NBA D-League Three-Point Contest at 2:30 p.m. ET. Action continues at halftime of the 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Game, which tips off at 3 p.m. ET, with the Boost Mobile NBA D-League Slam Dunk Contest.
The NBA Development League, the NBA's official minor league, is now on YouTube, showing over 350 live games on the NBA D-League YouTube Channel and NBADLeague.com. Fans can get a glimpse at the players, coaches and officials competing to ascend to the NBA's ranks. More than 40% of players drafted into the NBA since 2005 have played in the NBA D-League. Ten former NBA players are in the NBA D-League coaching ranks this season.
With 24 percent of players boasting NBA D-League experience when the NBA tipped off the 2013-2014 campaign in October, the NBA D-League YouTube Channel is the best place to see the future now.
The NBA D-League consists of 17 teams for the 2013-2014 season: Austin Toros, Bakersfield Jam, Canton Charge, Delaware 87ers, Erie BayHawks, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Idaho Stampede, Iowa Energy, Los Angeles D-Fenders, Maine Red Claws, Reno Bighorns, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Santa Cruz Warriors, Springfield Armor, Texas Legends and Tulsa 66ers.
