Urad dal and raw mango chutney is very simple and easy dish. An easy and healthy Andhra chutney recipe prepared with roasted urad dal and raw mango.


Dry roast urad dal ½ cup
Coriander seeds ½ tsp
Cumin seeds ¼ tsp
Dry red chillies 5-6 nos
Salt To taste
Raw mango(pieces) ½ cup
Green chillies 4-5 nos
Water as required
Yellow cucumber(pieces) ½ cup


1. Heat pan and dry roast urad dal, then add coriander seeds, cumin seeds and dry roast it.

2. Add dry red chillies and dry roast it, later transfer into mixie jar.

3. Add salt and blend it.

4. To it add raw mango pieces without peel, green chillies and blend it by using little water into slightly coarse.

5. Remove peel of yellow cucumber and cut into pieces.

6. Take a serving bowl, add coarse paste of urad dal mixture and mix yellow cucumber and mix nicely.

7. Now the urad dal raw mango chutney is ready to serve.
