FOR PANNA COTTA
Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Agar powder 3⁄4 Tablespoon
Heavy whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Sugar 1 Tablespoon (or as per taste)
Rose syrup/Berry syrup 1 Tablespoon (Optional)
FOR MIXED BERRY SAUCE
Mixed berries 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh or Frozen)
Corn starch 1 Tablespoon
Fresh orange juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (or or 2 tbsp Lemon Juice)
Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (or as per taste)
For panna cotta – place a heavy bottom pan on medium – high heat and pour in water.
Add in the Agar powder, sugar and heavy whipping cream. Cook for 5 minutes until warm.
Stir in the rose syrup and turn off stove.
Pour the mixture into heart shaped ramekin. Let it cool and place in the refrigerator for 60 minutes or until firm.
Meanwhile, prepare the berry sauce – in a saucepan, add in all the ingredients and place on the stove. Stir until everything is cooked.
Let it cool and strain using a sieve.
Remove the panna cotta from ramekin and place on a serving plate. Drizzle with berry sauce and serve.
If desired, you can mix 1/2:1/2 ration of Fat milk and Cream to make this Panna Cotta little lighter.
