The city of Wuhan, the epicentre of the deadly coronavirus which has claimed the lives of just over 100 people, with 4,500 total cases worldwide, has been on lockdown since January 23rd .

Residents of the city of 11 million find themselves confined to their homes by choice or by order, and on the fifth day of the lockdown, people joined in a chant of solidarity and encouragement which echoed through the buildings and the empty streets.
